Alexis Meytin is a psychotherapist specializing in eating disorders, depression, anxiety, addiction, and relationship issues Alexis has worked in various mental health settings including hospitals, outpatient clinics, residential programs and eating disorder treatment facilities. She specializes in the treatment of eating disorders, most recently serving as the Program Director of Backcountry Wellness’s Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient eating disorder treatment programs. Alexis’s therapeutic approach is tailored to address the unique needs of each individual and utilizes an array of evidence-based treatment modalities. Alexis has received her Master Degree in Social Work from Adelphi University and her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from SUNY Stony Brook. Alexis is continuing her education and is currently pursuing her Ph.D in Social Work at Adelphi
